The villa is supervised by a Manager who meets and greets guests on arrival, leads the staffing team to meet the expectations of each guest. One Villa Attendant is responsible for housekeeping duties. She also can help guests to prepare breakfast. She works from 9am to 5pm every day excepted Sunday and during the main balinese ceremonies (Nyepi, Galungan and Kuningan). One Security Guard on-duty to ensure the safety and security of the guests during the night. One Gardener & One Pool Attendant work discreetly in maintaining the landscape and the pool without disturbing the guests.

Villa Zenal does not come with a cook. As mentioned above, the housemaid is responsible for cleaning but she can help the guests to prepare the breakfast. Latitude is located on the Karang Kembar Estate on the southernmost tip of Bali in a region known as the Bukit Peninsula – a limestone tableland boasting some of Bali’s most glamorous villas, private estates and internationally-branded boutique hotels.

The interiors are created by designer Matteo Polizzi which perfectly complement GM’s architectural style with attentive and refined design solutions, decorative but at the same time functional. Furniture and fittings have been entirely custom designed; lines are modern, yet using natural materials and finishing, including teak wood, Indian stones, local palimanan stone and marble, terrazzo and rustic cotton. The result is an organic ambience with a modern touch that is timeless in style, yet relaxed and informal. The attention to detail is extreme, from custom made door handles and washbasins down to the choice of cutlery.

Kitchens are fitted with imported Italian appliances and fittings. Each bedroom boast its own LCD flat panel TV with music system, while the central entertainment system in the living area boasts a further LCD flat panel TV and a Bose or JBL sound system with ceiling speakers. Construction is at the highest international standard, with structure compliant to European regulations and designed to resist earthquakes in the Indonesian region.

Use of wood from certified sustainable plantation, proper system to treat and clean waste water, recycling of rain water for gardening, equipments with energy saving technology such as CFL and LED lighting or gas fired water heaters, solar panels: The Layar makes a priority of low impact on environment, in line with the love for nature that characterises it design.
